Commercial Description:
Chocolate truffles, cocoa, espresso coffee, burnt currants, the sweetness of a sherry - all come to mind when enjoying an Imperial Stout. A rich porter of English origin brewed to withstand the long voyage from London to Czarist Russia. The classic "Winter Warmer". Big, Strong, Malty Stout.

Black. Has a light brown head, mostly diminishing. Dark aromas, burnt, malty. Flavor is mainly bitter, a bit thin. Astringent too. Lively carbonation.

Pitch back with a medium dark beige creamy head. Aroma had chocolate, coffee and hard roasted malt. Flavour had fairly much chocolate, hard roasted malt, sweet coffee and burned caramel. Finished quite dry and bitter from the hops. Not bad.

22 oz bottle from Bier Stein. Pours out viscous, big two finger tan head that fades slowly. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, alcohol and roasted malt. Flavor of coffee, chocolate, alcohol, roast and plum/fig. Solid brew, another enjoyable one from Moylans.

Bottle Pours a good black with a good brown head. The head is creamy and lasting. Makes some good lacing. Aroma is good. I get chocolate, coffee, caramel, tootsie roll. Has a good carbonation and a real good mouthfeel. The flavor is awesome. Lots of chocolate and coffee. The alcohol is well hidden. Very tasty. Has a thick texture. Has a full body. A good strong finish with a good lasting aftertaste. A very hearty beer.
