Aroma: subdued; hint of maltiness with a bit of earthiness. Appearance: on Nitro, this was a joy to behold ... once the cascade of gas stopped, a beautiful, amber color with lasting white head. Flavor: as close to any English bitter I’ve had in England were it not served too cold ... tasty. Malty, hint of apple and pear .... very nice. Nothing overwhelms this beer and you could drink it all night. Palate: medium. Just right. Soft by virtue of the Nitrogen ... only wish it were on cask. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
