Commercial Description:
Our version of the classic Pale Ale style is named in tribute to County Tipperary, our founders Father's Homeland. Sweetly sharp and smoothly bitter, this beer straddles the line between what you want and what you need. It's not a long way to Tipperary anymore! Slainte.

Pours a transparent effervescent golden with a large, over-carbonated frothy white head. Aroma has a lot of fresh citrusy American hops and a lightly sweet pale maltiness. Starts with a nice, light sweetness and good fresh grapefruity hoppy balance. A nice APA.

Bottle shared with blankboy, HogTownHarry, mds and tupalev - courtesy of blankboy. Hazy light golden colour with a very large white head. Fresh aroma of cut grass, orange zest & fruit blossoms. Crisp, refreshing body. Good flavour, with light malts giving way to sharp, citric hops.

Bottle (22oz). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, mds and tupalev, blankboy’s bottle. Hazy light amber-orange with a huge fizzy white head. Light gran and weedy aroma, dry yet green timothy, slightly bitter. Interesting taste, dry slightly pungent weed/grass malt, very spicy and sharply yeasty. Light, very lively mouthfeel, quick finsih. Different, good.

Darker gold pour with a rocky white head. Fresh hops, orange-with-pine, and perfume in the aroma. Clean, sharp, hoppy bite with a mix of bread, lemon, and straw/wheat to even it out. A not-too-dry finish. Very nice.

Sample, 9/06. Pours a tannish color. Aroma is largely of hops. Flavor is hop with a little citrus, wheat, and spice characteristic as well. Very good offering.

Rated 5/18/07: Dark orange-copper pour producing a HUGE frothy white head that stuck around and left a thick blanket of lacing...Nice! Mild grapefruit aroma with a hearty dose of malt, lemon and evergreen scents are easily noticed. Mild mouthfeel, nice and malty. Well hopped for an APA countered by the rich malt content. Flavors of citrus and pine kept the flavor right in line with the great aroma. This one seems stuck in limbo between an APA & IPA. There is a lingering bitterness, this one comes across as over-hopped for it’s style although it’s still a great beer.
