| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Oct 3, 2009 Yay for Moylans coming to Texas! Pours with a moderate white head. Looks nice enough. Aroma becomes weirder as the beer warms. Initially, pine dominates but later on it shows characteristics of taxi air freshener, strawberries and the occasional hint of spoiled milk. Taste follows suite with a mix of fruity hops, pine, spoiled milk, and honey wheat bread. Finishes toasty with a rounded earthy bitterness. Medium to light bodied, creamy. How did a pale ale get so weird? KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 20, 2009 Bottle Pours a deep amber sap with an aroma of peachy strawberry jam and grapefruit preserves. Flavor is flat peach bread with bits of grapefruit peel. Watery and matly. Not a repeat. jsh12bama (344), Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Pours amber with fluffy white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and malt. Taste of the same. Pretty boring. Bronzan (26), Cotati, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 18, 2009 A fine beer, but nothing terribly interesting about it. A little less "hoppiness" than I generally prefer. blutt59 (2167), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 18, 2009 bottle, yellow amber with strong white foam, aroma of oranges and lemons, fruity citrus flavors very refined and tasty, lightly bitter finish, suprisingly good kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 15, 2009 Poured from the bottle to a hazy rusty brown with medium-thick tan head that lingered thru much of the glass and left good lacing. Aroma was a pleasant mix of malty caramel and dark fruit, along with a fairly pronounced hoppy citrus fruit. The mouthfeel, while slightly hoppy, was more on the thick fullness of the malt and the taste picked up those flavors found in the nose. Alcohol never made itself known, which is not surprising at only 5%, but the finish was long and smooth.
Another hit by Moylan. doubelknv3 (568), Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2009 Floral, carmel, and fruity aroma. Cloudy oragne with off-white head. Caramel, grapefruit, grass, and spice flavour notes. Balanced, medium bitterness, and sessionable.
