Jun 10, 2006 22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf. Poured a deeper and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral, spice and some caramel. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel, and lightly spicy. Starts of a little sweet and ends with a grapefruit finish.

May 28, 2006 22 oz. bottle, from BevMo LaJolla. Pours a nice deep orangey amber color with a moderate sized but long-lasting head. Predominantly sweet with toasty and mildly caramel malts, floral and lightly citrus hops along with undertones of vanilla. Toasty malt flavor, a bit of summer fruit as well as hints of lemon, spruce, floral hops and a bit of spice in the finish. Medium body, gentle carbonation. Nice little session ale.

Apr 30, 2006 One of the best pale ale’s I’ve ever had. 22oz bottle from Bev Mo. Pours a deep, hazy golden color. Aroma of pine, hopps, and some citrus.....some malts as well. Another satisfied customer of Moylans Brewing.

Hazy amber pour that raises a 3-dimensional creamy head.
Malty aroma with hops in the background.
Clean and dry with a bitter finish. Plenty of malt in the backbone holds this one together nicely. More than an APA, not quite an IPA.

Apr 27, 2006 Bottled. Pours a nice medium amber color. Aroma is somewhat hoppy with a little maltiness. Woody hoppiness right up front. A fair amount of bitterness throughout. Some maltiness. Finish is kind of citric and bitter.

Apr 17, 2006 Nose of pine and spruce, heavy perfume. Pours a clear golden. The huge sticky off white
head is rocky and mostly lasting with decent lace. The brew is well balanced but kinda
shallow; not far off from a pilsener, though the finish has more to offer than your standard
pils. The medium body is soft and creamy. If I was judging against style, the rating would
have been much lower. Huge disappointment, as the other sample I’ve enjoyed from this brewer was outstanding.

Apr 15, 2006 22oz. bottle. Pale orange color with a small white head. Sweet floral hop aromatics with tinges of diacetyl and DMS. Acrid floral hop components with some astringent resin. Muted sweet malt underneath corny DMS flavor. Residual resinousness and cooked corn in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light, somewhat dry.

Mar 8, 2006 Hazy buff color with a fluffy honey colored head. Floral hop and slightly sour malt aroma. Grassy hop flavor with some cooked vegetables. A bit watery. NIce bitter finish with some metallic notes. Needs some work.
