| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy strongly carbonated dark orange brown colored body. The aroma was hoppy and soapy. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hops and mild caramel. A decent one that I would consider buying again. djd07 (753), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy copper orange with a medium frohty off white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing. The aroma is a floral hop with citrus and pine. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter hop and pine flavor with a clean finish. Easy to drink a very good American pale ale from Moylans. drpimento (865), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Got this at Sam’s in Chicago a few months ago. Poured with a nice full white head and good lace. Aroma is malty, hoppy, citrus, and fresh. Flavor’s about the same. Not a big citrus hop guy here, so my ratings reflect that. Body is good with a fine carbonation. Finish is clean and then bitter. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Bomber shared at Scottyp’s housewarming tasting. Pours a hazy orange with good light tan head. Nose is surprisingly unique pineapple sweet hop aroma. Flavor doesn’t quite hold up, with an older english hop and distinct noble hop bitterness on the finish. Good reasonably priced beer. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Copper pour with a nice looking off-white head. Hoppy aroma, mostly pine with a bit of underlying sweetness. Taste has a pretty earthy malt profile up front, some piney hops. Not as hoppy as the aroma belies. Standard APA.
