Aug 13, 2009 Bottle Pours coppery orange with a white head. Aroma was lightly hoppy with some grass and a bit of sweet malt. Flavor is biscuity malt and a nice bit of spicy hoppiness.

Aug 4, 2009 Hazy orange amber color with a white head. Nice pine sap aroma with honey sweet pale malt. Medium body. Mild floral and pine hop bitter flavors with a lightly sweet pale maltiness to balance.

Jul 28, 2009 22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a small white head. Mild grapefruity hops aroma. Flavour is roasted towards slight breadish dark malt, certainly has hops, but rather downplayed and with a more subtle citrusy fruity note. Medium bitter and lingering dry roasted malt finish.

Jul 26, 2009 Bottle: This was the chosen brew for a steak lunch, great choice! Start full of flavor rivaling an IPA, it then mellows out and becomes a nice east drinkable Pale Ale but with good body and flavor. Finish is smooth. Drank in San Diego in Summer of ´09.

Jul 15, 2009 Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, sweet malt as well as some caramel and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hops - primarily spicy, and plain sweet malt - not a very exciting malt profile, leading to a bitter finish.

Jul 5, 2009 drinking a bomber of this at a hotel and so far I’ve sprayed some of it on the floor while trying to open it without a bottle opener - I’m drinking it out of a plastic cup - and I’m a little stuffed up. only one I’ve got though, so it’s getting rated. dark gold pour with a big off-white head and good retention. grassy pine hops, biscuit and caramel aroma. similar taste with moderate herbal hop bitterness mixed with cereal grains. light to medium bodied. slightly bitter citrus finish.

Jul 4, 2009 22oz. bottle. Toasty, lightly sweet, floral and citric aroma, with notes of honey, mild grapefruit and earthy hop. Clear medium copper color with a slight, fading head. Flavor is sweetly malty with distinct toasted grain and light, sugary caramel, blended with a fruity, citric, earthy, floral, cleansing hop presence, becoming more bitter and dry by the finish. Refreshing, moderately carbonated palate, body is light-medium. Fairly simple, well made beer.
