Commercial Description:
Our version of the classic Pale Ale style is named in tribute to County Tipperary, our founders Father's Homeland. Sweetly sharp and smoothly bitter, this beer straddles the line between what you want and what you need. It's not a long way to Tipperary anymore! Slainte.

Deep golden brown, medium off-white head, very lively but quick to collapse. Rich toffee and toasty malt aroma with light floral hops. Palate equally balanced between toffee and toast, and delicate fruity floral hops. Medium sweetness and a medium bitter finish.

This is a sweet, fruity pale ale. Nice pine aromas back up the citrus. The flavor is grapefruit, with a hoppy, yet tart finish.

Tea colored brew that is clear with moderate visible carbonation. A huge soapy light tan head. The head fades in a very uneven manner leaving a cool looking mess of foam. Nose is decent with plenty of grapefruit. Flavor is tart but surprisingly sweet. It is a smooth tartness brought about by a nice hop combination choice. It offers interesting subtlety of grapefruit, pine, orange, and caramel. Well crafted understated flavors.

Bomber poured a clear tarnished copper with a small lingering ivory head. Aroma was floral, light carmel and light fruittiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, floral and light fruittiness with a smooth lingering moderatly bitter finish.

This aggressively carbonated beer had a distinct British hop bitteress and a sweetness, that moved back and forth consistent with their wording betweenthe bitterness and the sweetness. And neither was overdone. It was nice and if more complexity, would merit a higher rating.A bit of hop smell, a nice head were also featured. Bee-aye #3300.

Bottle. Pours a transparent amber with a fluffy, beige head and thin floral aromas. Flavor is mild and rather uninspiring. Watery sweetness with a touch of floral hops and maybe a touch of orange juice. Finish is soapy and mild. Very disappointing from Moylans.

Draught at GABF 2008. Clear golden - white head. Nice high hoppy, grass, pine, resin, wet gress, knækbrød, swedish flatbread, light malty sweetness, lovely full bodied. Nice.

It’s a long way to the bottom of this bottle of Tipperary bomber. Hoppy orangey smell. Oh my, all kinds of big chunks in the pour from the bottom of the bottle in my huge tumbler. Large rocky head. Was clear at first but, now cloudy from sediment. The flakey pepper size chunks chunks and more chunks rise with the carbonation then fall to the bottom of the glass again only to be picked up and rising again later, what a show and its entertaining. Initial the bitterness is less than expected, but still bitter. Decently creamy carbonation which is fine and bubbly. Has some nice attributes about it if I can get over the mildly annoying hops. Pretty nice overall experience. I think I even have shades of orval peering thru at times. However, that slightly aggravating bitterness keeps popping its little head up in the finish. One of the better APAs IMHO. Of all the APAs I’ve tasted, except for the higher amount of bitterness, I found this to be approahing the perfect taste and feel of Orval, weird heh? And the price is very affordable. That sediment on the bottom is a little scary and I’m not sure if I should consume it or not! S4l5f3t4o9
