Can you say pop? Oh my, the head on this beer reminded me of a volcano! I loved it! The taste was sweet yet bitter enough, light in color, but it is masked well, with such sweet flavors............ Yummy!!!

Clean berry aroma, alongside slight metallic and musty notes, that remind me of authentic Lambic. Appearance is that of a German Wheat; hazy, pale straw. Fizzy white foam with large bubbles that settle into a mountainous chunk. Effervescence is very present, but not intrusive. Medicinal qualities, simiar to its Belgian counterpart. Plenty of bready malt to support the subtle sourness. Vinegar/sour/acidic qualities convince me that this beer is of high status. Notably dry finish. A perfect beer for the Summertime. The first American-made fruit beer I would repurchase.

Spritzy sweet and raspberry nose, good in the mouth -- just unfolding berry as it warms and fizzes, some viney qualities. Obviously lots of real fruit in here. The best non-lambic fruit beer I’ve had. I’d love to see this aged with good bacteria.

Bottle bursts a cloudy yellow with a HUGE fluffy white head.   They need to put a warning on the side saying contents will explode when opened!   Seriously, open this one very slowly.   Carbonation is just streaming from all over this beer.   Lacing is like superglue.   Aroma is very very fruity/berry.   Initial taste, once you get over your mouth full of carbonation, is very berry, but also a bit acidic and metallic.   Noticing little yeasty elements floating around in there.   Certainly looks like a wheat beer.   Sheesh, this foam head still persists.   The resultant burps prove to be a better method of tasting this brew, no metallic taste there.   Mouthfeel is, well... very well carbonated.   As Eyedrinkale suggested, don't be thinking of pounding this one.   The finish shows off the sour/acidic side a bit more, but its not overley powerful.   However, a slight metallic aftertaste lingers.   I think this is a great Fuit Beer, but it would be even better if it wasn't so damned lively.   Reminds me a lot of the old Portland Brewing Wheat BerryBrew, cept that one wasn't as carbonated.   Thanks goes out to herbjones for the trade!

WOW this smells exactly like some skunky blue berry chronic and has a real fruity scent none like i have none in the past. It looks like a hefeweizen in the glass but don’t be fooled. I was fooled and wondering how they pulled off lacing berry flavors and not making the beer as sweet as it smells.

Looks like an American Hefeweizen, but has the flavor of a great soft fruit beer. The fruit is nicely balanced with the wheat and is a great starter or finish beer for your meal at the brewpub.

Bomber from La Mesa Market. Hazy golden color upon pouring. Sweet berry aroma. Some sourness as well. Sweet fruity flavored with some sour. Some sour/lambic qualities. Better than your average fruit beer.

Draft at brewpub. Hazy yellow, nice head. Definite fruit aroma. Dry wheat flavor breaks into a big boysenberry syrup finish. Not bad, just a hair too syrupy sweet for me.
