2004 bomber shared by Enniskillen from the old liquor store on Main Street in Cayucos. Nose of slight oxidation and a slight funky note and graininess with some orange and spices. Hazy orange with a big beige head that laces heavily. Tastes of a lillte light tart note with wheaty yeast and light peach and spice notes. Pretty good for a five year old wheat ale!

Amber with a fizzy white head. Tart wheat malt smell with citrus fruits. Light body with a bubbly mouthfeel. Nice wheat grainy tart flavor with a mildly sweet citrus flavor to finish. 32706

Sent to my via Mr. Dick. Aroma is of candied fruits and caramel malt--nice. Hazy golden brown in color. The medium palate brings flavors of light orange, wheat, and some malts. Very interesting brew.

22 oz bottle. Poured yellow to orange, with a big long lasting tan head. Nose of citrus and ginger. Nice on tongue with good carbonation. A very nice brew and is smooth and well done.

2005 vintage: This was an extremely difficult brew to drink. A wet-paper nose with a rotted tropical fruit background. Appearance was a nice orange/goldish color with a very small white head and had a TON of floaties. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Flavors were, again, with the rotted tropical fruit and wet paper. I didn’t get any semblance of a wheat, let alone a double wheat. I think this was past it’s prime and then some. Too bad, because it looked like it had potential.

Thanks to hopdog for popping this 2005 vintage... Appears a cloudy, pale gold with a fizzy white head that quickly fades out into a small cap. Smell is of creamy wheat, sugar, orangey citrus, earthy herbs. Taste is of the mentioned aromas with a fruity grape like flavors, and perhaps an apple mixed with honey & apricots flavor as well that seems to surface. Mouthfeel is slick and dry but very clean with medium amounts of CO2 running along the tongue.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). 2005 vintage. Poured a medium and lightly hazy amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas of oranges, orange peels, spices (corriander), and some wheat. Tastes of oranges, lemons, wheat and spices. Tastes on the softer side and I wonder if they would be stronger if this was a fresh bottle. Slightly refreshing none the less.
