Yellow/orange, with a white head. Aromas are orange and wheat. Flavors are orange, wheat, and some spice. Body is rather light. An interesting holiday brew. Different from the others, and quite interesting.

2005 Vintage, 22oz bottle purchased from Hi-Time Wine Cellars. Some small specks of yeast dot the texture. Nice, slightly hazy orangish coloring with a beautiful creamy head that diminishes slowly. Banana aromas are very powerful from a distance, but the orange zest really comes out as I plunge my nostrils closer to my brew. The orange aromas are very sweet and more like a ripe tangerine. The flavor is disappointing relative to the pleasing aroma. Extra light carbonation gives this brew a somewhat unpleasant buttery texture. Finish leaves me with a smack of straw.

This tastes heavy of orange/banana and has a gummy head. Goes really smooth, and it’s nice to have a light-bodied holiday beer.

22 oz. bottle. Dark amber color with a nice off-white head. Aroma was strong with orange zest and a little bit of wheatiness. The first taste was pretty good, mostly sweet, with the zest and wheat very present. I found myself tiring of the taste before I could finish the bottle however. Not bad for an American Wheat, but pretty much average overall.

Hazy bronze pour has a lightly-lacing frothy white head. Light wheat, orange peel and ginger comprise the aroma. Flavor starts with a subtle bittersweet malted wheatiness balanced with a tart citrus and mild earthy pine. An interesting brew, but pretty thin and lacking dominant flavor.

2005 vintage, 22oz. bottle. Deep hazy orange amber with a small white head that dissapates quickly. Citrus zest, muted wheat, and some clove in the aroma. Syrupy and tart orange and lemon flavors, some underlying wheat and dusty esters. Finish is residual cloying citrus. Mouthfeel is medium, somehwhat watery.

I appreciate the attempt at an unusual style, but it didn’t quite come off like I would have liked. Got very flat by the end of the bottle and just fell flat on it’s face.

Poured a hazy orange with a large off-white head. Aroma is wheaty, with light citrus and some earthiness. Citrusy lemon flavor. Semi-dry with a light bitter finish.
