22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). 2005 vintage. Poured a medium and lightly hazy amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas of oranges, orange peels, spices (corriander), and some wheat. Tastes of oranges, lemons, wheat and spices. Tastes on the softer side and I wonder if they would be stronger if this was a fresh bottle. Slightly refreshing none the less.

Hazy bronze pour has a lightly-lacing frothy white head. Light wheat, orange peel and ginger comprise the aroma. Flavor starts with a subtle bittersweet malted wheatiness balanced with a tart citrus and mild earthy pine. An interesting brew, but pretty thin and lacking dominant flavor.

Poured a hazy orange with a large off-white head. Aroma is wheaty, with light citrus and some earthiness. Citrusy lemon flavor. Semi-dry with a light bitter finish.

Orange gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty and fruity, touch of banana and spices. A medium bodied double wheat. Malts are fruity and sweet. Touches of banana and clove. Smooth taste, nice balance. Touch of orange and citrus. Nice beer, a lighter bodied Christmas beer, but still has all the spirit of a heavier winter ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

2005, 22 oz bottle. Orange liquid without any head at all. Sour apple aroma that makes me think the bottle is bad. Since I just got it from a source that works at a beer store, I doubt it’ a handling issue. Taste is somewhat sweet and somewhat cidery. but the lack of carbonation reminds me of ANY of Gale’s beers. Some bubblegum in there and the grain/wheat flavor ain’t bad.

Draft. Orange amber with very little head. Citrus hop aroma. Fruity flavor - fruit and wheat dominate with some slight spiciness and vanilla. Light body.
