Bottle: Dirty caramel, quite cloudy, large foamy off-white head, attractive lacing.   Spicy nose, subtle coriander and orange peel, moreso mace and white pepper.   Seems a little musty and basement like.   Spices are also dull, not sharp or bright.   Mouthfeel is fairly meaty, quite full and thick.   Seems very herbish on the tongue.   Not all that sweet, slightly dry, definite white pepper and assorated spices.   Kind of has a twang on the finish.   Lingering white pepper, or even that weird pink pepper like flavor.   Coriander and citrus based spices need to be a bit more dominant on this on.   Decent, but the pepper is a little too overpowering.

very nice seasonal beer. Has all the qualities of a nice belgian wit but more dark in color. Mouthfeel is nice, with a little aftertaste. Flavor is rich and malty. A nice winter brew.

Aroma of nutmeg, maybe cardamom and coriander. Orange gold color with a white/beige head that laces somewhat. Whoa! It’s like incense. Creamy, full mouthfeel, but what are these flavors? A Wit? There is some hop in the finish, but mosty it is spice, herb and ?orange?. Never had anything like this before. It’s good. Maybe Wits have to be enhanced for Christmas. This is really different. Good, though!!!!

(22oz bottle) Medium off-white head atop lightly hazed apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, pumpkin pie (nutmeg, clove), light orange, cardamom, cinnamon. Taste is medium sweet, orange, nutmeg, some cardamom, clove. Creamy light-medium body, fairly drinkable. Decent beer, but seems like they focused on the wrong season for offering it.

22 ounce bomber purchased at Nugget on Covell Blvd in Davis, CA. Lightly sour, acetic, aroma with some nutmeg and coriander - maybe even some pumpkin spiciness. Grainy, cereal-like maltiness is also detected in the nose. Autumn leaves are also in there. An interesting aroma, although I am not sure if it is true to being a Belgian WIt. Moderately hazy orange-copper body present with a smallish manilla colored head. Again, this is a little dark for being a true Belgian Wit. Very floral, buttery, diacetyl, popcorn flavors to start. Becomes a bit tart and acidic in the middle. Finishes with some peppery spiciness and even more popcorn flavors. I don’t know if the diacetyl popcorniness is intentional or if it is due to some of the spices used, but it makes this beer taste really flawed. Rather unenjoyable.

Body is an orange with a nice white head. Aroma is heavy citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, the white pepper shows up nicely, yeasty. Taste has a decent amount of yeast, orange zest is very prevelent, cinnamon. Differant beer, but pleasant.
