Pours clear golden color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate lemon grass citrus aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium citrus bitter finish of an average duration. My expectations where met. miketd (685), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2007 650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Golden amber with fluffy white head. Aroma is kinda strange, but not off-putting. Taste is smooth and sweet with a decent sweet and peppery spiciness. Not bad. Jvittorio4187 (255), Boardman, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Wow. Not a good wow. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Hints of light spice on the nose with very earthy hops. Taste is very earthy with slight spice, weird hop finish is very unappealing. Finish is thick and akward at the back of your throat. riversideAK (2797), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 5, 2007 Dark orange color with an uber small head. Aroma of butterscotch, vanilla, and cinnamon, perhaps a light orange citrus too. Butterscotch and cinnamon dominate the flavor of this one with some notes of vanilla and light orange as well. Not alot of noticable wheat, soft in the finish at best. But more wheat as it lingers. Nothing special, but not obtrusive to my palate or anything. Brigadier (1257), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

This was only $4.99 at the local store so I figured I would give it a shot. Based on this I do not know what to make of Moylan’s. The Hopsickle was a fantastic Imperial IPA; this is a thoroughly average witbier. The good news is that at the prices they sell these for I would not be disappointed with slightly above average. For now they get the benefit of the doubt.
Aroma / Appearance - A one finger eggshell head lingered for a long time before cascading into the carbonated coppery body. Cinnamon, spice and orange rind were as I expected. The unusual pepperiness was hard to pinpoint however. For a witbier it was on the light side, reminding me more of a seasonal from late September/early October (pumpkin ales).
Flavor / Palate - White chocolate, coriander and a nice spiciness kept things interesting for a while but then it became fairly predictable. The wheaty finish hinted that there could have been more. Overall it was not bad or majorly flawed. This beer just lacked any kick that made me want to rush out and buy another one for later in the season. BillKismet (1957), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Light bronze body, fizzy and champagne -carbonated with a sturdy head. Aroma is of light hops and a welter of spices. Strong fusel character of the alcohol impinges on the palate. Spice flavors never come together the way I would wish. Interesting, unusual notes such as pepper, and what perhaps is mace. Bitter-sour spicy finish.
