Rxforbeer (1), Troy, Ohio, USA does not count Feb 4, 2006 THis is a great tasting beer with complex hop flavor. IT is a refreshing break away from the standard macrobrews that dominate western Ohio. We would travel long and far to find this beer. Thanks, Mike, for making such a great beer!!! Looking forward to more in the future. FLP62 (6), USA does not count Jul 4, 2006 Of the three Mt. Carmel ales, this one really stands out. Caramel and earth notes and slightly citrus. Hops make a nice finish, but not this is not IPA hoppy. A really great beer. JCW (1258), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Nov 21, 2005 This beer is very IPA’ish. Bronze colored, moderate white head. Aroma is very much of cascades, grassy and slightly citrusy. Biscuit malt flavors are there to balance out the hops. While this beer isn’t exceptional, it is very good and one I never get tired of drinking. Each of Mt Carmel’s beers that I’ve had have been well made and I hope for many more from them in the future. clingman71 (166), Centerville, Ohio, USA Jan 21, 2007 Updated: Jan 24, 2007Growler. This is my favorite of the 3 Mt Carmel beers. It isn’t quite as hoppy as I would like, but solid nonetheless. It is pretty malty, but not malty sweet, very bready. I have had this beer maybe five times, and it is always extremely fresh!!!Very enjoyable indeed! HarkJohnny (4), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA does not count Dec 14, 2005 very much enjoyed this brew at Nicholson’s. It was called Celebration Ale then and is very reminiscent of SNCA (which IS an IPA). Highly recommended.
