Had this on tap at the Ice Axe Grill in Government Camp, OR. Colour... Medium golden. Nose... A smidge of malt and gently hops. Palate... Kind of sour up front followed by some hops, malt and a grainy finish. Not my fave pale, but OK nonetheless.

Slightly hazy orange coloured body with amber highlights and no head at all. Aroma of grapefruit and a bit of other hops. Mild taste, medium-bodied; Not strong at all! Aftertaste shows some good hoppy flavours with some malt, but not much at all. Overall, not really much in the way of complexity, but a decent beer throughout. I sampled this beer on draught in Portland, Oregon on 09-September-2006.

On tap at the brewery. Light golden orange, good clarity, smooth white head. Lemony citrus hop nose. Pretty well balanced and crisp in the finish. Well done hop forward pale.

Draft at Ice Axe Grill, Government Camp, OR. Pours a hazy golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a slightly malty hoppy citrus aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish.

On tap @ Henry’s Tavern, Portland. Hazy golden copper hue, citrus smell. High drinkability with a smooth mouthfeel and pleasant finish. Hop presence is certainly felt, but is not overpowering. A crisp, clean, well done Pale Ale with a distinctive subtle balance.

Cask at the brewpub. Hazy dark golden color with bubbles for head. Light stone fruit aroma. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly peachy, but the bitter is quite strong. Nice low level of malt.

Soapy hops and bready grains in the aroma. Hazy yellow with a thick head. Crisp and light with some citrus and floral hops and a mild bready sweetness. A thirst quencher.

Draft at Hood River Hops Fest 2007. a hazy amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of butter, hops, and malt - and so is the flavor. What’s going on with the butter?
