boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 21, 2008 Bottle... Poured deep amber with a good size head. Leafy hops and malt on the nose. Pretty decent for an amber, a nice hop profile and a well rounded malt balance that lends to a roasted finish. glkaiser (1150), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 20, 2008 There is a Weed, CA? Awesome. On tap at Green Dragon in Portland. Dark amber. Really nice session beer with solid bitterness and toasted malts. greenhorn1 (458), Mission Viejo, California, USA Aug 28, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours amber with a think creamy head. Bold malty aroma with undertones of floral notes. Rich malty caramel flavor followed by some nuttiness. Slight bitterness in the finish. Decent amber. nigelvibations (9), , Oregon, USA does not count Aug 24, 2008 Thin head and side bubbles, with the reddish-gold color of the sky on the label. Smells sweet, like a wet pine forest in the morning, plus Tootsie Roll overtones. Rich, hoppy, tangy, and slightly smoky first mouthful - a beer taste I associate with fancy seafood restaurants and weddings, for whatever reason. Very refreshing, with just enough complexity to keep it from being boring. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 20, 2008 On tap at Bailey’s Tap Room in Portland, OR--Poured a rich amber-brown body with a rich whitish head. Gritty, biscuit nose with some creamy notes. Mild citrus, bitter finish. Very delectable! troopie (851), USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottle.Poured deep amber brown with thick lasting white head. A lekker amber Dubbercody (214), Vancouver, Washington, USA Aug 10, 2008 !2 oz bottle.
Nice beer to drink watching the Olympics. You don’t have to think about it. You can just sit back and enjoy it. Decent color, moderate bitterness with a somewhat dry bitter finish. The negative is that It’s a little bit gassy.
riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jul 9, 2008 Aroma of caramel malts, toast, roasted nuts, and a little fruitiness. Pours a light amber with some chill haze and a thin head. Has initial flavors of caramel and toast, followed by a good deal of nuttiness. A little wood comes through as well as a nice hoppy finish. I could drink this all day. A very nice amber ale.
