12oz bottle from my Rep for Mountain Peoples Dist. Good amber color, nice toasted aroma with slightly bitter finish. Much better than I expected.

Obtained as an extra trade. Pours orange, with a thick white head. Aroma is loaded with grains. Taste has a thick mouthfeel with lots of malts and caramel. Light chocolate. Really awesome taste, with pronounced roasted - cookie - nutty mouthfeel that is just amazing and make this one a very enjoyable beer. This one came up as a big surprise and the story behind the bottle cap and the whole beer is funny as well.

Ruby with good lace. Bitter caramel aromas with some diacetyl. Some alcohol and biscuits. Caramel malts in the flavors with some biscuits and more diacetyl. Finishes bitter and buttery.

Pours a three finger cream head that fades quickly to a ring leaving traces of lace. Almost cloudy amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Seems to be a malty nose. Starts almost sweet mid-finish hops dominate, not a bad amber. $1.55 for a 12oz bottle from John’s Market Tigard, Or.

I find that as I keep trying new beers I find in local COOP I keep finding obscure winnners. This is one of them Pours dark amber wtih a nice slightly off white head that left good lacing. Nose of malts and hop. Very clean mouthfeel. Good flavors of malts with a nice hoppy finish.

Bottle... Poured deep amber with a good size head. Leafy hops and malt on the nose. Pretty decent for an amber, a nice hop profile and a well rounded malt balance that lends to a roasted finish.

There is a Weed, CA? Awesome. On tap at Green Dragon in Portland. Dark amber. Really nice session beer with solid bitterness and toasted malts.
