Obtained as an extra trade. Pours orange, with a thick white head. Aroma is loaded with grains. Taste has a thick mouthfeel with lots of malts and caramel. Light chocolate. Really awesome taste, with pronounced roasted - cookie - nutty mouthfeel that is just amazing and make this one a very enjoyable beer. This one came up as a big surprise and the story behind the bottle cap and the whole beer is funny as well.

Aroma of caramel malts, toast, roasted nuts, and a little fruitiness. Pours a light amber with some chill haze and a thin head. Has initial flavors of caramel and toast, followed by a good deal of nuttiness. A little wood comes through as well as a nice hoppy finish. I could drink this all day. A very nice amber ale.

Received a 12-oz bottle via ABA Beer Swap. Pours a clear reddish brown amber brew with a thick beige head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, roasted caramel malt, and some fruit. Taste is slightly bitter, medium bodied, with flavors of citrus, roasted dark malt, ice tea and some tobacco. Finish is semi-dry, mild bitterness with a lingering ice tea aftertaste.

Bottle: Dark caramel in color, moderate off-white foamy head, fairly nice lacing, no visible carbonation.   Sweet malty nose, fairly sweet actually, slight berry like fruitiness, and a smidgen of honey.   Hearty malt start, fairly sweet as predicted by the nose, a touch of earth, finishing with a fairly moderate caramel malt like sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Only thing I might change on this beer is tone down the sweetness a tad, otherwise its quite enjoyable.   Thanks Bill!

I find that as I keep trying new beers I find in local COOP I keep finding obscure winnners. This is one of them Pours dark amber wtih a nice slightly off white head that left good lacing. Nose of malts and hop. Very clean mouthfeel. Good flavors of malts with a nice hoppy finish.

On tap at Bailey’s Tap Room in Portland, OR--Poured a rich amber-brown body with a rich whitish head. Gritty, biscuit nose with some creamy notes. Mild citrus, bitter finish. Very delectable!

Bottle... Poured deep amber with a good size head. Leafy hops and malt on the nose. Pretty decent for an amber, a nice hop profile and a well rounded malt balance that lends to a roasted finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours amber with a think creamy head. Bold malty aroma with undertones of floral notes. Rich malty caramel flavor followed by some nuttiness. Slight bitterness in the finish. Decent amber.
