Commercial Description:
Proudly named after the founder of Weed, this rich ale starts off sweet and malty and progressed into a light, bitter flavor.

Bottle... Poured deep amber with a good size head. Leafy hops and malt on the nose. Pretty decent for an amber, a nice hop profile and a well rounded malt balance that lends to a roasted finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours amber with a think creamy head. Bold malty aroma with undertones of floral notes. Rich malty caramel flavor followed by some nuttiness. Slight bitterness in the finish. Decent amber.

Pours a nice copper/orange with a fluffy white head that disappears slowly... Initial aroma of caramel malts, then more sweetness but not in the bad way, and a nice touch of subtle spice... Not very hoppy in the west coast way, but rather a wee bit spicy without the expected sweetness... Medium bodied with lingering sweetness, the finish is where the sweetness hits as it lingers a bit longer than anything else on my palate, and a touch dry in the finish... Easy drinking, quite tasty nice nice beer...

brown/red body with a thin white head ring, slightly hoppy nose, smooth caramel flavor, super dry malts, fresh ester finish, hoppy as the pacific north west should be

Bottle: Nice rich, earthy malt nose with biscuit and toast hints; not so subtle toasty caramel sweetness, not too sweet or cloying; finishes with a fairly complex hop profile, especially for an amber; well balanced with character at each end; not bad at all.

There is a Weed, CA? Awesome. On tap at Green Dragon in Portland. Dark amber. Really nice session beer with solid bitterness and toasted malts.

Sampled draught at Liberator Brewing, Troutdale
Amber color, tan head, nice lacing. Nose of diacetyl & floral hops, fairly malty & buttery though. The flavor is malty with an offset bitter note & some more diacetyl. The finish lingers but creamy & malty. Eh.
