[Bottle - John’s market] A deep redish amber color with a nice thick head. This was a gooddrinking glass of beer. Rich malt flavor with a hint of hops this also had hints of frutiness and a deep toffee flavor. A great drinking beer.

There is a Weed, CA? Awesome. On tap at Green Dragon in Portland. Dark amber. Really nice session beer with solid bitterness and toasted malts.

Pours dark amber with a modest off-white head, good lacings. Aroma is mild, floral hops. Taste is bitter citrus hops, lots of sweet malts. Pretty well balanced as an Amber should be. Bitter dry finish. Last time I was in Weed it looked to be a time warp from the late 1960s. Also in the heart of the herbal version of it’s namesake. Nice to know someone is clear-headed enough to brew a very nice beer in that town. Good job dudes!

From the 12 oz bottle pours a dark murky brown color, a slight bit closer to amber if you really hold it up to the light, but still much darker than most. A small fast fading off-white head sits atop. This was a nice hoppy amber. Malts gave a bit of caramel and honey sweetness up front and were balanced out with a lightly fruity hop finish.

As Weed Ales Amber (at NorCal Brewers Raley Field Festival). Malty aroma; dark amber color; not much head. Medium mouthfeel; darkish malt flavor. A bit of hop in the finish. Drinks well.

Thanks to Skyview! Brown color with a medium head. Grassy hop aroma. Dry malt flavor and a fairly grainy finish. Pretty decent Amber Ale.

Pretty good amber! Hoppier than expected - pours amber with white head. Finish is clean. Some nice spicy hop notes compliment the malts, which don’t overpower.

~Pours a darker amber color with no head. ~Very light malt scent. Hard to pick up aroma. Some light citrus hops. ~Bitter woodsy hop flavor, aley. Very light malts. ~Light to medium feel. Bitter finish. ~Nice amber. I really like the hop flavor in this. Malts are fairly mild.
