Nik925 (300), California, USA Mar 17, 2009 Strong chewy malt with good flavor. A great crispness yet the bitter aftertaste isn’t that great. I would not complain if I had to drink a bunch of this, but there are better beers out there. jeff789 (359), Pennsylvania, USA Mar 3, 2009 Pours a slightly hazy amber with a tan/white head with nice lacing and decent retention... Aroma of Pine, caramel, bubblegum, sweeter/maltier than hoppy, not citrusy at all... Flavor is piney, sweetish, earth almost to the point of dirtlike, but the flavors run away quickly... Finish is slightly dry, clean... Not what i was expecting with the label saying Weed and IPA, aroma and more aroma would have been more appropriate... bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Mar 2, 2009 Draft. Amber beer with a whitsh head. Light grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light caramel backing. Medium body. OK bitterness, but could use more. Grapefruit and pine lingers. adrian910ss (1395), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 19, 2009 Pours a clear orange honey with a medium white head. Grassy aroma with hints of buttery hops. Taste of grassy hops, light citrus, caramel with a touch of butter. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Feb 18, 2009 Bottle. Amber in color with a good amount of floating sentiment on the pour. Small, compact off white head. Aroma of chewy caramel, citrus and some flowers. Pretty solid tasting; a bit more malt focused, making me think this may have a little too much age on it. A lot of caramel and bread with some earthy and floral hops in the finish. Did not pick up much pine as others have. Pretty drinkable and solid beer. agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 13, 2009 12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured clear orange with scant head. Astringent hoppy, bitter flavor. Thin and watery. Wouldn’t revisit. michael-pollack (2603), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 15, 2009 Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of hops, grapefruit, citrus, and some caramel. Poured golden/orange/amber in color with a medium-sized, dense, creamy, white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Not sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of cream, hops, caramel, and light pine. Seems very fresh. Medium body. Creamy, dry texture. Soft carbonation. Caramel and hop finish is dry. mrhoppy (209), Santa Clara, California, USA Jan 1, 2009 Poured copper color with a good head and light lacing. The aroma was pretty hoppy with lots of floral and pine as well as a touch of honey. The flavor had more pleasant floral and piney and a little sweet. A biscuit malt body for nice balance and the flavor of grain. A nice smooth drinking IPA with great hop flavor. Easy a regular beer.
