Appearance: Pours a clear, orangey body with a small, wispy, white head. Smell: Pale maltiness with scents of pine needles and citric-smelling grapefruit. Taste: Pale malts with a mild caramel sweetness. Pithy grapefruit, a taste of pine, and a medium hop bitterness that rides out until the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Pretty par for the course when it comes to IPAs.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep gold, with a big frothy head that sticks around. Nice lacing. Citrus aroma. Flavor is malty, with foral notes in foreground and some piney notes in the background and grapefruit in the finish. Lingering bitterness. Overall, not good, not bad, just mediocre.

Another one thanks to Skyview. Dark copper color with no head. Plenty of pine and citrus aroma. Bitter malt and hop taste. Grass and a little grain.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle via ABA Beer Swap. Pours a semi-clear orange amber brew with a thick off-white head that has some nice retention and good lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, some grapefruit, lemon zest and a touch of white pepper. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of caramel malt with a little sweet grapefruit and pine. Finish has a fruity and caramel aftertaste with a nice lingering west coast IPA bitterness. Nice!

Bottle courtesy of gunhaver: Pours a transparent deep copper bronze with nicely-lacing spotty white head. Aroma of fresh grapefruity hops and a good balance of sweet caramely malt. Body starts with good fullness and a nice, crisp fresh citrusy bittering and flavor hop character before the finish. A pretty good IPA.

Yummy beer. Picked this up while on vacation in Portland (along with 30 other beers that I have never tried - AFTER trying about 20 beers there that I had never tried). Nice extra hoppy goodness here - not the hit you in the head type of beer in favor amongst many American brewers but in the just right to go with extra malty backbone vein.

12oz bottle. Poured a very murky (with a ton of floaties) glowing orange amber. Head was medium in size, off white, and left great lacing. Nose of grapefruit and some malt, flavor was citrus with a nice malt backbone. Finish was slightly bitter.
