Bottle... Poured dark orange with a white head. Aroma is toasty with butterscotch malt and herbal, tea-like hops. Good wood-like flavors that match the hops and small amounts of malt for balancing.

This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and sweet, with some citrusy and piney hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and sweet, some fruit and toffee. The hops are citrusy and piney. More in the English style of IPA, it has a nice balance of caramel malts and hops. Perhaps a touch of must and cardboard at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with some juicy hop flavors

I had this on tap. This is a nice IPA. It’s copper with a fairly good off-white white head that lasts a bit and leaves a little lacing. It’s very juicy with a little pine and some clear citrus (lemon and grapefruit) without overdoing it, and has a good lightly caramelly grain and fruit. It leans toward the hops and bitterness, but has enough body, fruity sweetness, and flavour to back this up. It is nicely juicy in taste and feel without being juist one-0note grapefruit flavour.

on tap at belmont station. fine aroma--rsin, caramel, strawberry. light amber with barely a head. light in 6 he mouth and drying on the tongue. thin taste a little harsh, grapefruit, slight blush of honey, and alittle body to the hops but overall imbalanced

bottle from hi-times I hope this bottle was just old.....the nose hinted at good hop flavor...but did not provide the flavor at all......hints of hop flavor.....that kinda was disappointing! and kinda musty

Bottle: The golden-orange-amber color of this is only evident when held to the light. The held is solid and high. To me, the aroma is extremely, over-the-top biscuity, like fresh-baked cookies. that same odd flavor is in the palate. How do I describe it? ... sweet malt, metallic hop, black tea. Definitely on the musty side. Interestingly on the dark side. (#3390, 4/8/2008)

Bottle courtesy of RiversideAK. Pours copper with a white head. Smells earthy with some tea hints. Tastes peppery with some citrussy touches. Decent.
