12oz bottle acquired in trade with riversideAK (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus and some floral hops. Tastes of citrus, pine, and light caramel. Medium bitter finish.

Draft @ Horse Brass Pub: Pours a gleaming golden orange with a large beige head. Aroma is bright with citrus hops and malty sweetness. Flavor is crisp and clean with citrus and light bits of pine. Finished dry with lingering floral bitters.

Bottle. Poured deep bold with lasting foamy white head. Faint, pleasant piney aroma. Good bitterness in the flavour, more pineyness and hop. Good mouth feel. Lasting finish that just sits there.

The cap on the bottle read "Try Legal Weed" Nice. From a bottle purchase at Johns in Portland, OR--Poured a deep amber copper body with a rocky off-white head with great lacing. Big hoppy sticky and slightly sweet malty aroma. Thick, but not over the top IPA flavor. Not too bitter or malty but it had that unwelcoming Fat Tire burnt malt thing going on that I wasn’t feeling. More like a pretty hoppy pale ale. Very very nice beer that was clean and crisp all the way through. Glad I tried it.

12oz Bottle – Gravity Room – Olympia, WA
Aroma – Had a deep IPA hopped up aroma. Great for us from the NW
Appearance – Deep orangish brown with a nice head and very clear
Flavor – This was a deep Hop IPA. with some good malts in the background. The hops where flavorful and tasty. This had a slight metalic flavor also. Might be a tad infected.
Palate – Had some good flavors the hops helped with the bad flavors this finished sweet with the metalic flavor
Overall –I think I got a bad bottle. The beer you can tell was awesome the flavor was good filed with hops and some malts but the metalic flavor was off. I am not sure of the cap gave it or what there was some sediment at the cap area. I will try again it was good and needs a chance.

12 ounce sample at the Squaw Valley Brews, Blues, and Funk Festival. Herbal, grainy, lightly floral and piney hopped nose. Aroma is grassy and dry, too. Transparent orange body with a nice, frothy, creamy, off-white head. Herbal, earthy, spicy, piney hops present to start. Middle has some grainy maltiness, which balances nicely with the hop flavors. Finish has some light pine hops that are a bit bitter. Decent brew.(6/4/6/4/13)---RE-RATE- 12ounce bottle from the Davis Food Co-Op. Aroma is kind of husky and a bit metallic. Not much in the aroma to make me think of an IPA. Mildly hazy copper body with a small off white head. Kind of sweet to start with some caramel notes in the middle. A little bit of tannin character is also there. Spicy hop finish. Not overly bitter, but a long lasting spiciness to finish. It’s ok. Not sure what’s up with the aroma.

As Weed Ales IPA at NorCal Brewers Guild at Raley Field. Aroma of pine and malt. Coppery color; lacing white head. Thinnish mouthfeel; starts with piney hop, and malt is present. A nice firm resiny bitter finish. Well balanced.

Had again and loved it even more. One of the better IPAs in my opinion. Original 4.1 A nice slightly fruity floral IPA. This is a nice bitter beer, with consistency throughout. Could have this as a session beer.
