May 7, 2009 On tap at Boonville Beer Fest, called "Weed IPA." Golden-orange color with a white head and average retention. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus, and piney hops. Flavor is caramel malt with the hop character highly citrusy. Average on the palate for an IPA.

Jun 1, 2008 Bottle... Poured dark orange with a white head. Aroma is toasty with butterscotch malt and herbal, tea-like hops. Good wood-like flavors that match the hops and small amounts of malt for balancing.

Feb 22, 2006 OK saw this at a local store..ive seen more of this brewer here in Salem in the last few months. And was impressed with their porter and amber..so this looked like a sure thing.
In appearance it is certainlly an attractive IPA deep orange/amber with a gorgeous bubbly ,creamy tan head.
the aroma however is puzzlingly subdued for a IPA..i really cant pick up much hoppiness at all..just some malts.
mmm again the taste is very mellow and mostly well balanced until the end where the hops eventually show through mainlly in the aftertaste..Nice enough on the palate..quite smooth ( though this is not a good thing for an American IPA).
Overall i found this drinkable..but in my opinion this is more an English styled IPA than an American one.

Jul 18, 2004 Fruity, malty, and caramel aroma with slight a citric hop quality. Copper colored. Sweet and toasty malts with a fresh hoppy bitterness. Some piney hop flavor in the finish as well. Worth a try.

May 3, 2009 Clear dull orange color with a quickly dissipating white head Aroma of pine, hops, and citrus. Flavor-lots of grapefruit, hops bitterness, and a touch of caramel. Not exactly mild, but a nice ipa.

Jul 11, 2009 stinky caramel aroma; cloudy copper body with lasting off-white head; bittersweet flavor - notes of wood, grapefruit, sugar; smooth at first, but eventually wants to be cloying yet doesn’t get there; good brew overall, but nothing different in comparison to the competition.

Feb 7, 2008 Bottle. Poured deep bold with lasting foamy white head. Faint, pleasant piney aroma. Good bitterness in the flavour, more pineyness and hop. Good mouth feel. Lasting finish that just sits there.

Aug 6, 2009 Not a bad IPA! Had this one fresh at the brewery. Much like Stone IPA, in that its a nice tongue buckling bitter IPA. Full flavored, and strong in hops. Drink this one fresh.
