Fruity, malty, and caramel aroma with slight a citric hop quality. Copper colored. Sweet and toasty malts with a fresh hoppy bitterness. Some piney hop flavor in the finish as well. Worth a try.

12 oz. bottle - thanks to DarkElf for giving this one to me after his recent beer trek up the west coast! Pours a nice copper-amber with a moderate off-white head that diminished mostly. Aroma features caramel and toasty malts, hints of ripe apple, floral and light citrus hops. Flavor is different, as DarkElf points out there’s a distinct roastiness to the malts in this one, also a nuttiness reminiscent of a brown ale, still sweet though with ripe oranges, and a nice biting hop presence with sharp herb and spicy flavors and notes of day-old grapefruit rinds in the finish. Medium body and plentiful carbonation. Not bad - definitely unlike others I’ve had.

12oz Bottle – Gravity Room – Olympia, WA
Aroma – Had a deep IPA hopped up aroma. Great for us from the NW
Appearance – Deep orangish brown with a nice head and very clear
Flavor – This was a deep Hop IPA. with some good malts in the background. The hops where flavorful and tasty. This had a slight metalic flavor also. Might be a tad infected.
Palate – Had some good flavors the hops helped with the bad flavors this finished sweet with the metalic flavor
Overall –I think I got a bad bottle. The beer you can tell was awesome the flavor was good filed with hops and some malts but the metalic flavor was off. I am not sure of the cap gave it or what there was some sediment at the cap area. I will try again it was good and needs a chance.

Bottle. Clear amber with a frothy lingering head. Mild piney hop, bready malt aroma. Medium body. Well balanced flavor of bready malts with a nicely bitter hop taste. Worth a try.

Appearance: Pours a clear, orangey body with a small, wispy, white head. Smell: Pale maltiness with scents of pine needles and citric-smelling grapefruit. Taste: Pale malts with a mild caramel sweetness. Pithy grapefruit, a taste of pine, and a medium hop bitterness that rides out until the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Pretty par for the course when it comes to IPAs.

Draft @ Horse Brass Pub: Pours a gleaming golden orange with a large beige head. Aroma is bright with citrus hops and malty sweetness. Flavor is crisp and clean with citrus and light bits of pine. Finished dry with lingering floral bitters.

Bottle. Poured deep bold with lasting foamy white head. Faint, pleasant piney aroma. Good bitterness in the flavour, more pineyness and hop. Good mouth feel. Lasting finish that just sits there.

Bottle. Amber in color with a good amount of floating sentiment on the pour. Small, compact off white head. Aroma of chewy caramel, citrus and some flowers. Pretty solid tasting; a bit more malt focused, making me think this may have a little too much age on it. A lot of caramel and bread with some earthy and floral hops in the finish. Did not pick up much pine as others have. Pretty drinkable and solid beer.
