The aroma has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt and licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and a roasted bitterness, notes of chocolate, licorice and it’s smooth and full-bodied and the finish is dry and roasted. A dark porter, almost black in color. Fat, roasty, chocolatey, coffeeish nose with some hop spiceyness coming through. Medium body, munchy, lightly oily, slick with good carbonation. Nicely roasty, chocolatey, caramely, bittersweet chocolate and lightly spicey. Well balanced. Dry, lingering finish. A nice, big ass Porter. Thanks again Eric!
