| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2009 On tap at The Red in Santa Cruz. Poured into a pint glass. Clear dark brown color with an ecru head. Tons of creamy lacing. Aroma is ashy chocolate and sourish coffee. Flavor is much the same. Sweet with an unappealing tartness. Mouthfeel is thin but creamy due to a nitro-like carbonation. I’m stunned that this has such a high rating here. troopie (889), USA
