| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 26, 2005 I’m very impressed with this porter, very rich and roasty with a good body and nice coffee finish. Pours black with a nice tan head. Very roasty throughout finishing with a very bitter coffee bite. Very smooth and has more weight on the palate than many porters making feel nice and full. after4ever (2822), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 24, 2008 12-oz. Cute little name, label, bottle caps, etc. Black with ultra light gray rim. Huge sour coffee nose. Creamy, oily body. Nice soft woolly fizzy carb. Coffee, chocolate, and roast on the mid-palate, though the coffee is hugely reduced from the nose, much more balanced and harmonious with the other notes. Mild chocolatey finish. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2006 This one pours deep and dark, almost stout like. An interesting balance of sweetness and saltiness. This has this great chocolate sweetness and then a sweet and salty mixture of dark brown nuttiness. Rich and creamy with some mellow roastiness in the finish. michael-pollack (2729), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
