Bottle courtesy of Iowaherkeye – thanks Joey! Pours a beep oxblood with a half finger tan head. The nose is roasted coffee beans and cocoa. The taste is roasted malts, light chocolate and sawdust with a sour coffee finish. Light-to-medium body. Decent.

Dark nearly opaque black. Nice full tan head. Good roasted light coffee aroma. Moderate roasted flavor and some coffee again A touch of that dr sour note that comes with the stlyle. Very good over all.

12oz bottle. Dark brown color that is a little on the light side for a porter, with a smallish beige head. The aroma is rich and intriguing with some toffee, roasted malt, cinnamon spice, nutmeg, and toasted grain. The flavor is like creamy chocolate milk with a light roasted edge and mild hops. A little bit on the sweet side and not very bitter at all. Really pleasurable overall with a silky medium body. The only thing that would make throwing more than one of these back easier would be a drier finish.

Pours a very deep ruby bordering on black color with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee beans and cola. Taste of roasted malts, coffee beans with a hint of smoke and charred flavor.

True they brew a "test positive" stout? Was wondering if this would be more good or gimmick and pleased to say that I enjoyed it - nice full body, leaning to sweet side with some molasses like flavor along w/ the roast character and nice bitterness.

Tap... Poured black with amber highlights with a brown head. Roasted malt aroma, strong chocolate presence with malt and some hops to balance. Chocolate-mocha-coffee-ish aftertaste.

Must be from kenb. This was an incredible Porter. Hugely complex and this might be my faovite Porter now. Massive chocolate, more like eating a piece of Grandma’s homemade chocolate cake. This was thick and rich
