| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 30, 2009 12oz bottle. Dark brown color that is a little on the light side for a porter, with a smallish beige head. The aroma is rich and intriguing with some toffee, roasted malt, cinnamon spice, nutmeg, and toasted grain. The flavor is like creamy chocolate milk with a light roasted edge and mild hops. A little bit on the sweet side and not very bitter at all. Really pleasurable overall with a silky medium body. The only thing that would make throwing more than one of these back easier would be a drier finish. adrian910ss (1425), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of roasted malts, coffee beans and cola. Taste of roasted malts, coffee beans with a hint of smoke and charred flavor. fly (1332), austin, Tejas, USA

Was wondering if this would be more good or gimmick and pleased to say that I enjoyed it - nice full body, leaning to sweet side with some molasses like flavor along w/ the roast character and nice bitterness. boFNjackson (1309), Portland, Oregon, USA

Hugely complex and this might be my faovite Porter now. Massive chocolate, more like eating a piece of Grandma’s homemade chocolate cake. This was thick and rich
