Bottle. Poured amber with thin white head. Light fruity aroma with a bit or crisp. Mild flavour, a bit of malt, a bit of hop, a bit of floral. Light finish. Good on a hot day.

Great beer name, and Shasta is a great mountain. The beer itself is between a mountain and a valley, though not quite as low as plain.

Golden with a thin head. Aroma is lightly sweet and fruity with light malt and hops. The flavor has light fruity notes, some light malts, and a pleasant hoppy finish. Unobtrusive, well done, drinkable. It works.

12oz bottle. Pretty standard golden color with a small white head. Light aromas of malt and hops, a pretty good golden, very drinkable.

Second rifling through the beer fridge for a beer I’ve never had before brings me to Weed Golden Ale.....There’s a joke in there somewhere, but not today. Pretty Golden, maybe closer to darker golden ale pours from a 12 oz bottle. 1 inch white head that leaves little to no lacing. Lighter scents, some hops, some soft malt, but nothing that is strong or off putting. Tastes, pretty darn good. Starts a little bit sweet, then the hops come in top the picture. Swallow leaves you a sweet taste that again is followed by a nice slightly hoppy aftertaste. Decent beer. Nice to have on a hot spring day.

Pours gold with modest white head, lots of sheet lacings. Aroma is herbal. Taste is sweet with enough bitter hops to balance the sweet malts. If you like this type of brew give it a try. It is much better than average for a blonde ale. Exceptional barbeque beer.

This blonde ale poured with a modest white head and a floral fruity aroma. The flavor is thin and carbonated with dry finish, and a lingering spiciness.

Nice aroma of hop and spice. Brassy gold color with a white head that left shards of lace. Thinnish body with mild carbonation. The flavor is floral hop with light pale malt. The finish is fairly dry with nice floral hop notes. More flavorful than many "blonds".
