Sparkling golden ale. Grainy aroma with light grassy/earthy hop notes. Gentle bitterness. A very simple, inoffensive golden ale.

Nice aroma of hop and spice. Brassy gold color with a white head that left shards of lace. Thinnish body with mild carbonation. The flavor is floral hop with light pale malt. The finish is fairly dry with nice floral hop notes. More flavorful than many "blonds".

Draft. Straw color with a white head. Light grass and light malt aroma. Grassy flavor with light spice and light mineral. Medium bodied. Light mineral, light malt, and light grass lingers.

From the bottle pours a honey gold color with a white head. Hoppy and lightly malty nose. Well balanced with more flavor than many golden ales with a clean hop finish to even out the sweeter malts ulp front.

Golden with a thin head. Aroma is lightly sweet and fruity with light malt and hops. The flavor has light fruity notes, some light malts, and a pleasant hoppy finish. Unobtrusive, well done, drinkable. It works.

(12 oz bottle: Gift from a buddy driving from San Diego to Seattle) Got this beer plus a few others for house sitting my friend’s cat. And it’s not a bad beer either, but has that signature flavor for this brewery. Rather sweet caramel malt flavor dominates to the point of being overbearing, but also with a prominent floral nature and just a touch of bitterness in the background. The aromatic nose is sweet caramel and floral. The sweetness of the beer results in medium body, but it also borders on being cloying. Dark golden color and clear in appearance. The off-white head pours to an average size, eventually settling to a wide rim. A few spots of lace are left on the glass. Pretty one-dimensional beer -- sweet caramel -- and quite different from any other golden ale I’ve tasted. It’s terribly out of balance, like drinking candy, and tough to drink more than 6 ounces.

Smells kind of funny, no head. This is somewhat good; a little bit fruity in the middle. Okay, but not great.

Bottle: Dark straw, fairly cloudy, moderate off-white sudsy head that falls quickly leaving only a thin film, spotty lacing, light carbonation.   There seems to be light sediment in the bottom of the glass.   Sweet overcooked vegetable nose, laced with honey and kids cereal.   Soggy golden grahams cereal?   Similar taste, overcooked vegetables detract but the honey at least makes it more palatable.   Yeah, either stale cinnamon toast crunch or golden grahams.   Very subtle hop presense on the back side.   Lingering sweetness, moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not very crisp nor like any other Golden Ale I have had.   Needs some refinement.   Seems to be darker, sweeter, and not as hop oriented as others.   Decent malt base however.   Thanks Bill!
