Commercial Description:
Czech Mate Pils is a traditional Bohemian style lager that has been named after our Czech mate Thomas – the man who designed this beer. It has been brewed as a true, no expense spared Pilsner via a decoction mash and the use of Bohemian Pilsner malt and Czech Saaz hops. It then undergoes a long lagering process before arriving as a golden coloured beer to you.

Nice, crisp fairly easy drinking pilsner. Not quite as soft as I am used to for the style, but otherwise true to form.

Sample at MT Brewery. I had this on my last visit to the brewery. Golden with a small white head. Beautiful floral notes with spicy notes. The flavour is malt, fruit and spice. Clean and crisp pils with good bitterness and dry finish. Another really good beer, they must have a great water source up there on the mountain.

Hoppy, spicy, aromatic. New world style here with grapefuit and lofts of lift. Spicy and bitter hops to finish. A very complete and well balanced beer.
