Commercial Description: Katya is one of our little girls and she is modeled on the stouts made for export to the Russian Imperial Court during the 18th century. Catherine the Great is known to have been very fond of the style, hence our naming this beer Katya. In the Glass Katya shows a deep brown/black colour with a dense tan head. The aroma is one of deep chocolate liquor with hints of overripe fruit and is followed by a beer of similar flavours carried by a smooth and large body. At 7% abv Katya Imperial Stout will warm against the chilliest winter and is a perfect partner for rich chocolate or coffee desserts.
