Commercial Description:
Note the subtle fruity bouquet of this full-bodied medium-sweet mead. An extremely smooth mead with a lot of flavour.

This mead pours a still pale yellow liquid. The nose is filled with honey and white grapes, with floral notes and a bit of alcohol. Tastes of sweet honey and melon, with white grapes and grass, with noticeable alcohol. Sweet, harsh boozey finish with lingering taste of honey. This one is a little rough around the edges, but still somewhat enjoyable in small doses.

Stale honey and alcohol, yellow, Strong taste of alcohol, harsh, unpleasant drink. Thanks tupalev.

Bottle shared with a bunch of folks at Doug’s - courtesy of tupalev. Very pale greenish-gold. Soft body. Light, wine-like flavour, with warm honey and booze in the finish. Quite simple.

Bottle. Pale, light yellowish-white still body. The aroma has some cereal grain, and alcohol. Yeah, it’s quite simple sweet and alcoholic - fairly rough and somewhat sticky. Not particularly good.

Item #4 at June 2006 Toronto cider/mead -fest - bottle from tupalev. Very pale yellow, flat, no head - a mead. Aroma - dry and boozy! Strong tart, almost harsh raw white wine - almost eye-watering. Taste is alcohol, bitter persimmon, again the "green" white wine rawness - there’s a lot of sweetness there, I guess that’s the honey. Flat, bitter, alcoholic slick mouthfeel - man this is boozy, and unfortunately harsh - I sniffed the glass after and it had a definite honey smell, moreso than when drinking it.

My bottle, mail order direct from the meadery but stored for 4 months in my cellar. Funky aroma, I wonder if it suffered a bit. Strong alcohol but not much flavour is taste. Very light yellow, still. Hot honey finish. Not terribly interesting.

This bottled mead poured a no head no bubbles of unnoted size of unnoted length unnoted colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained no carbonation, was unnoted and weak straw yellow in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild honey mead . Its mouth feel is smooth with a mellow palate and a mild honey smooth aftertaste. Its flavor contained mild honey notes. An above average mead.

Bottle. Pale yellow hue. Uncarbonated. Aroma was that of honey and thus sweet. Flavor was sweet, syrupy and dry. Smooth, dry palate. Just so-so.
