Aug 28, 2002 Nowhere to get except a small Vienna pub...probably my favorite Irish ale. Dark amber, nice and smooth, caramel taste, full body, creamy and mellow.

Oct 5, 2006 Coffee and Chocolate Accents . Smokey flavor. Tart but not too bitter. Beautiful foamy head. Very dark beer. Not as dark as guiness(or bitter) and the head is better. This beer would also be cool to make into a mousse or pudding.

Dec 23, 2007 Great beer! Dark black, reminds me of Beamish. Same style, thick black, awesome head. Tiny packed bubbles in the head that lasts forever! Nice and creamy. I will get this one over and over. Tastes like espresso, some carmel overtones. Great beer by some great people! I would love to get this one on tap.

Mar 10, 2006 I actually like this a little better than guinness. It has a much more milder taste than guinness, not as bitter. The head has a beautiful froth to it. Very enjoyable!

Murphy went to Wake Forest Abbey in South Hampton Ireland, took classes on kick butt beer making, and made my life withing living; nuff said.
