Bottle. Poured copper with an off-white head that settled to a ring and left light lace. Initial aroma of light skunk clears to grain and caramel. The flavor found toasted malts. Medium body and sweet aftertaste.

Nov 26, 2009 Bottle. Poured a dull red with an off white head. Aroma has some earthy notes as well as some roasted notes. Roasted notes are more apparent in the flavor with a bit of bitter hops at the finish.

Clear medium grey red amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - grey head. Aroma is light moderate malty, roasted, caramel, hay, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091020]

Sep 24, 2009 300ml bottle. Reddish golden colour, big soapy off-white head, but no lacing. According to the bottle, it should be served chilled at 5-7C°. Aroma of malt and ripe fruit, not unlike a European pilsener. Sweet-and-sour taste, followed by a smoky malt finish and aftertaste. Certainly different from English ales, this one seems more like a European blond beer (only, it’s red) - which is not surprising considering the fact that it is brewed in Amsterdam(!). Not bad, not terribly distinctive either - a solid mainstream effort. Repeat order unlikely.
