tap, nitro @ Goodbar beer club. Black, tan head. Nose is caramel, toffee, vanilla, some dark malts. Super sweet. Flavor is caramel, light papery malts, a bit of rasty bitterness in the finish. Very light body.

Brother purchased this for St. Patricks day. Didn’t really like this much. Came in cans. Tasted just like Guinness, and seeing that I am not a fan of Guinness I am not a fan of this, and I am Welsh! Just too thin, a little roast/smokey flavor, but not enough for me to like it. Palate is just too thin for this stout to be great. The hop profile is somewhat decent. This beer actually had a noticeable hop profile. Sorry I don’t share the same views as my fellow drinks. Just not an English/Irish Stout fan.

Very light aroma. Flavor is also on the light side, but a pleasant bit of roastiness to it. It’s mark is really in the palate: incredibly soft and smooth with a lingering dry finish.

16oz can from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a murky dark black color with massive two finger creamy tannish-white head that settles slowly. Aroma is roasted and malty with notes of chocolate, coffee, caramel, molasses. Flavor is roasted and malty as well with notes of chocolate, coffee, toffee, and hints of caramel. Generally medium to full body with a creamy malty finish. Respectable Irish stout.

Pours deep mahogany into an English pint. Nitro cascade forms tight tan head that recedes to thickly coat surface leaving sheet lacing. Roasted malts and cocoa aromas. Sour fruits and chocolate upfront with a thin, lasting bitter roast finish.
