Can sampled. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and a touch of chocolate. Flavor is dark roasted malts, mild coffee and light chocolate with a smooth light body and a short finish.

Draft. Pours black, White frothy head. Chocy and malty. A nice change of pace from guiness.

Can. (Previous tasting) This is a good stout which is similar to my sacred Guinness in many ways. Would like to give this one anotheer taste, this time side by side next to a Guinness so I can determine why exactly I still like the Guinness better overall.

Can. Pours a black color that takes awhile for it to settle. Head is off-white, very frothy, and medium in size. Lacing is average. Aromas of chocolate and roasted malts. Creamy texture all they way through with a nice roasted malt, then chocolate taste. Good Irish stout!

On tap at Old Chicago Downtown Denver poured a clear dark brown with a lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of bitter chocolate, charcoal and light vanilla. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bitter chocolate, charcoal and light vanilla with a smooth lightly roasty finish.

Always liked this better than Guinness Draught. Its a nice stout if you’re in the mood to slam them down fast without thinking too much. Flavoursome roasted malt vibes. I get smoky, milky coffee tangz.

Pint on tap at Eliza Blues Restaurant, Temple Bar, Dublin. Deep dark brown with a creamily smooth head. Predominantly roast barley and hops, although there is a hint of bittersweet chocolate. An easy drinking stout, but not the best around.
