Head is off-white, very frothy, and medium in size. Lacing is average. Aromas of chocolate and roasted malts. Creamy texture all they way through with a nice roasted malt, then chocolate taste. Aromas of bitter chocolate, charcoal and light vanilla. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bitter chocolate, charcoal and light vanilla with a smooth lightly roasty finish. Deep dark brown with a creamily smooth head. Predominantly roast barley and hops, although there is a hint of bittersweet chocolate. An easy drinking stout, but not the best around.
