Coffee and hop flavor, but sort of metallic. Could stand to have more flavor, but this is what happens with a nitro. zach8270 (2131), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is dry and burnt malts. Some cream. Not much in the flavor department. I know I am drinking something because I can feel it going down my throat, but I cannot really taste much. Very light flavor of roasted malts and coffee mixed with some cream. Very thin. Edgekrusher (83), , Alabama, USA

O God, O God, how weary, stale, flat, and unprofitable seem to me all the piss-poor Guinness rip-offs of this world. Even more dull than the emasculated Draught Guinness. Fake plastic stout. can8ianben (908), Pasadena, California, USA

Very creamy mouthfeel, much like a Guiness. Dark and rich, almost chewy. Not as complex as I’d like it to be. Thick foamy head, very dark in color, a light nuttiness to it, no hops, low carbonation, doesn’t get much better as it warms. penguinjive7 (67), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Poured form the tap into a Murphy’s glass. Nick cascading effect, settling black with a thin white head. Lacing is excellent. Smell is mostly of roasted malts. The taste is the same as the smell with the addition of chocolate and a very faint hint of coffee. The carbonation was very light, even for being on-tap. It was very creamy and goes down nice and smooth.
This is an excellent pub brew. I would have to have some more of this to make a fair judgment, but as of now I think I would take this one over Guinness.

Scents of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt wth a slightly smoky aroma. Definitely tastes of a chocolate coffee - nice beer. SeanMacGC (255), Dublin, Ireland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Draught. Pours a good dense black, though letting more light through than a Guinness (inevitable comparison). And decent slightly off-white head too. Rich on the nose, of chocolate and roasted malt and barley. Quite sweet (for a stout) on the palate, and a lighter mouthfeel (than Guinness). Very quaffable.
