Black with creamy head, weak notes of roasted malt, coffee, coffee and liqourice Flavour is sweet in beginning and finish bitter and dry. Sorry Guinness, but I would prefer a Murphys if asked.....

Great brew. Bitter, thick, and creamy. The embodiment of what a great stout tastes like.

The head is awesome, great palate, an excellently crafted brew, but its conservative. I expect more/am jaded and want more than simple perfection. If MGD was my beer of choice this would be a perfect 5, but alas, its a 3.

Tap 0,5 l. Pleasing appearance, dark brown/black with a small white head which stays. Burnt aroma. Tastes a lot of coffee and hops, bitter taste and finish. Runs smoothly in the mouth. Quite nice, but not quite as good as a proper Guinness on tap.

1000. rating for this one Nitro can. Dark brown w/ thick creamy head. Nice burned malty nose, chocolate, coffee, better than I remembered. Flavor is smooth and quite rich with roasted coffee and dried fruits. Little hops and cocoa in the finish. Light to medium bodied, creamy palate. Better than Guinness, says me.

draught plænebaren, bakken, copenhagen, looks great, nice flavor of vanilla and roasted stuff. Very refreshing and tasty without being watery or boring. low alc. didn’t spoil this one.

Although I must admit my bias in favor of this brew, I truly found it to be the premier Irish Stout. A good pour merits a fuller head than a Guinness and matches the pitch black body. Strong taste with a hint of coffee and chocalate. Admitly not as strong as other european stouts.
