draught plænebaren, bakken, copenhagen, looks great, nice flavor of vanilla and roasted stuff. Very refreshing and tasty without being watery or boring. low alc. didn’t spoil this one.

Although I must admit my bias in favor of this brew, I truly found it to be the premier Irish Stout. A good pour merits a fuller head than a Guinness and matches the pitch black body. Strong taste with a hint of coffee and chocalate. Admitly not as strong as other european stouts.

Thanks to ghawener. Drank it for my 35th b-day. Pours pitch black. Thin bodied, very ashy and smoky. Appears weak vs other imperial stouts.

Had on tap. Was a little disappointed with taste after seeing how nice it poured and looked (dark brown with a nice head). Not a strong taste at all. A little bitter in aftertaste.

Blah. Typical dry stout. Aroma was somewhat weak. Coffee and whipped cream. Pour was the usual beautiful deep dark brown with a nice 4 finger tan head. Taste was the usual thin watery mix of cream and bitter roasted malt. Blah.

Black colour, medium tan head. Roasted malts and cream in the aroma. Flavour is of roasted malts, creamy and bitter. Finishes dry, smooth beer.
