Nice, flavorful beer. It pours dark brown with a nice tanish head. The head lasts the enitire beer. The flavor is much like a Guinness but with a little more stout. Palate is a creamy nice texture. I do recommend.

16oz can pours the void of interstellar space black with firm lasting quarter inch creamy tan head. The aroma is mild with roasty malt notes, chocolate malts, black licorice and faint caramel mixing even fainter dark fruits. The draught style of this beer creates a pleasing creaming sensation ushering in roasted malts, chocolate malts, burnt malts, licorice, tart malt astringency and faint black grape sweetness. It leaves behind a taste of roasted malt, chocolate malt and tart astringency into the after taste.

[Draught]. Black with a grey head. Roasted malts and coffee lingers in the air, and the flavours are typical Irish dry with some berries and a bit os smoke and roasted bread.

Good stout - not as good as it’s cousin. Creamy, a little bitter, with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Tastes much better in draught than in the can. I have yet to try it in a bottle, but I would like to. The can gets too much nitrogen I think.

Exploding Can. After mopping the kitchen and sponging off the counter, it pours like a standard nitrogen fueled stout. Dark, with medium head. Little aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, but watery flavor. Really just one-dimensional, with slightly smoky roasted barley the only thing coming through. Very dry.

I love what nitrogen does to the appearance. The beer looks stunning when poored from a keg! Aroma is very subtle, has some roasted notes of toasted bread and chocolate. Same goes for the flavor, some bitter roasted notes and thats it. On the positive side, a pint can be swollowed as easily as any pale lager out there...

Pours very creamy, like milk chocolate, settles into a dark black beer with a large creamy beige head. Lots of chocolate malt in the nose. Yup, thats pretty dry. Some chocolate and coffee and just a bit of smoke. Super creamy body.
