Aroma is very faint but a slight roasted scent can be detected. Beautiful looking brew, its solid black with a super thick head that looks like tan whipped cream. Taste is a big let down, with a very thin body and just a touch of a burnt taste and a bitter bite on the end that gives it a dry after taste. Its lacking in flavor and is way too smooth and light.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Has a very dark brown color with a creamy light tan head. Sticky lacing on the glass. The aroma is licorice malt with some chocolate. The taste is very sweet malt with a good finish.

It looks really nice in the glass with a huge creamy head and dark body. But the flavor is just dull and watery with none of the roasted, bittersweet goodness I come to associate with stouts. The flavor is really just slightly better than America’s crappy pale lagers.

Smells like dirt. Tastes watery. Some banana nastiness, also tastes like dirt. Also kind reminds me of a pale American lager.

A really good dry stout for a good price. Great body with good flavor. Great with meat, but watch out what beer you follow it with. Like most stouts, can’t taste too much after this.

A good malty stout, great for a social gathering. Relatively in-expensive which is nice for a small body of people. Great appearance with a good taste too. Try this in a half and half with Harp or Smithwick’s.

Nitro can, november 07. Pours opaque black color with a medium, creamy beige head. Some roasty flavor with cereal notes and some skunk. Medium to light mouthfeel, somewhat watery and bland. Silky. Coffeish aftertaste. Neutral aroma, slight coffee notes with a bit of butterscotch. So so. Common nitro stout.

Draught. Black colour. Very nice, very stable light brown head. Quite roasted flavour with a rough and sour bitterness.
