pint can - Very dark beer with light brown head. Nice aroma, but taste was rather watered down to me..

Like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, Guinness Draught and Murphy’s Stout are quite the same. For instance, the can is the same size in ounces, the nitrogen widget in their cans, and the dry, slightly roasted chocolate malt taste. The difference (if any) is Murphy’s is slightly (and I mean slightly) lighter and creamier.

I had this beer on tap while on vacation in florida and was very impressed. It was similar to many other stouts that i had but this one in particular had a darker head. The beer had a black color and a very good flavor. The body was satisfactory while slightly on the watery side. Overall a very good option to consider and a good alternative to Guiness.

16 oz can into a pint glass. Opaque with a light tan head. Little aroma. Tastes of coffee and bitter chocolate. Some diacetyl. Thinner body than I expected.

Can. Had this awhile back last spring. Not a big fan of stouts, I prefer BEAMISH over this, as well as guiness. It pours a black with tan head. Taste is very roasty.

Can. Black colour with a tan "nitro head". Smells really good. Notes of liquorice and roasted malt. The flavour is disappointing, thin and watery.

Poured from Pub-Pour can. Not as sweet as some other Stout Pub-Pour beers. The dark roasted malts have a pleasantly bitter aftertaste, and leaves the palate with hints of espresso.

Can. Jet black with creamy nitrokeg head. Aroma of roasted malt and bitter chocolate. Watery in the mouth with more chocolate flavours and an ok dry finish. Better than Guinness but that’s no saying much.
