Bottle, Can Pint glass. fairly light roasted aroma, pours pretty dark with a nice tan head, thats creamy, plenty of nitrogen carbonation. Ok roasted notes but not many, finishes dry, creamy. Not bad, but nothing very specatular either. Its better than guinness.

One of my first stouts and not a bad one at that time. Now times has changed and I only drink it if anything else (in the highend-scale) is not available. But not that bad.

Pours a deep, dark black with a thick, creamy, light tan head that lasts forever. The aroma is light with some coffee notes and some mild hops. The flavor is quite nice - unexpectedly so. Not as grainy tasting as other dry stouts here in Dublin. It has notes of chocolate, and more noticable malt flavors (though still light and dry enough to qualify as a dry stout). The finish is dry with an aftertaste of coffee. Overall, more enjoyable than its more popular cousin (Guinness)

Canned. Pours a very dark beer with a nice creamy mocha head. Strong aromas of roasted coffee, some hints of caramel. Flavours of chocolate and coffee. A very nice roasted malt character. Very creamy, easy drinking. Not very substancial and flavourful though. Still fuller bodied than Guinness. Bitter finish with a hint of peat. Enjoyable finish.

Lots of carbonation. Creamy white head on this dark brown pour. Flat taste with a flavor that I can’t read on my notes.

Can. 16 oz. Very dark brown, almost black. Creamy, fine head with good lacing. Light malty aroma. Medium- bodied with a creamy texture and near flat carbonation. Flavor is light sweet followed by a dry, light bitter. Simply drinkable.

This nitro can was brewed in Luton, UK. Poured with a nice tan, very thick and creamy head and plenty of lace. Ultra dark brown, almost opaque. Chocolatey and a bit roasty nose later a bit beery too. Not too dry. Of course creamy body. But did notice a bit watery. Easy finish. Had this at Bodega Brew Pub, downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin USA. Occasionallly it’s on draft too.

Tap. Only just occurred to me this was a new rate for me. Pours a very dark ruby, nearly black, nitro head. A bit straightforward, malt in the nose, hint of chocolate. Pasteurised nitro taste, toasted malts, burnt. Palate is greasy and thin. Slightly dry and gulpable.
