| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2007 Very nice foam and a beautiful nice dark brown colour. Not a very strong taste but that is exactly what makes it perfect for some pints at the pub during a nice football match! GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Pours black w/ a full wicked creamy head. Finally reduces to a thick creamy blanket that just sits there. Aroma is mild w/ roasted malts. Medium nectar w/ no residual effers. Flat and creamy. Moderately roasted malts w/ a mildly sour bittering component. The finish is bittered w/ charcoal and leaves the same flavors at exit. The best thing about this is the appearance. I think I like the froth flavors better. I had this side by side w/ Guinness and I liked Murphys better because the hop profile was more persistant. Tanker12 (129), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 14, 2007 This beer was like a weaker version of Guinness in almost every way. It still had the burnt chocolate flavor of Irish Stouts but it had a very "empty" quality to it. Almost as if there was one or two levels of flavor missing from it. Not a bad beer but not one I would seek out in the future. redlight (1490), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Mar 12, 2007 How i have not rated this one either? Smooth chocolate and vanilla aroma. Pours thick black with a hung cream head, and settles up due to the nitro. Creamy vanilla and chocolate flavor, with a really good roasted malty finish. Very Smooth. Stonebrook (25), USA

The taste is very creamy of chocolate and tofee, almost to good to drink. yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 5, 2007 I remember tasting this in a side-by-side comparison with Guinness and Beamish. It had more taste than Guinness, which is more comparable to Coors Light than its own myth. Having just drunk a pint of this off tap, though, I’m can’t possibly see how I was right, unless, of course, Guinness is even worse than I thought. I’ve eaten paper with more flavor. If I was Irish, I would be embarrassed that this swill is capitalizing on my tradition and ruining my good name.
