It had more taste than Guinness, which is more comparable to Coors Light than its own myth. Having just drunk a pint of this off tap, though, I’m can’t possibly see how I was right, unless, of course, Guinness is even worse than I thought. I’ve eaten paper with more flavor. If I was Irish, I would be embarrassed that this swill is capitalizing on my tradition and ruining my good name. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada

Impressive and without a doubt one of the best stouts I have had. I have also had this on tap in Ontario and in Paris, France and recently at the Gatwick airport on an 18 hour lay over. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2007 Pours black as night with a beautiful frothy head. Flavor is slightly bitter with hints of roasted nuts and dry malts. Smooth and refined it finishes short and clean. Very drinkable and definitely worthy of consideration when talking about great stouts. Orion1800 (51), Piedmont, California, USA

Chocolate coffee flavors and aroma, nice medium body. I prefer this to Guinness just slightly.
