Pours near black, with a tan foamy head from the nitro can. First impression is that there is no carbonization and that it is a bit watery. There isn’t much flavor and very weak on the hops profile. But smooth (thanks nitro). A medium stout. Not my favorite stout by a long shot. It’s (relatively) cold and rainly here in Panama, I thought it was stout weather. Perhaps the best stout currently available in Panama, but that isn’t saying much. I wouldn’t choose this in the States.

(Tap) Pours an inky black color with a tan nitro head. Dusty aroma of dark and roasted malts. Taste is of roasted malts, some light brown sugar, cocoa and light smoke. Dry and satisfying finish. Light to medium palate. Creamy, yet slightly watery at the same time. Better than Guinness in my opinion.

Clean, roasty aroma with just a bit of yeast in the back. Jet black, with an awesome nitro head. Flavor was extremely smooth and creamy, a strong roasty flavor, and a bit of a lingering bitterness on the back of the tongue. Overall a very good Irish stout.

Even though it’s a dark stout, it pales in comparison to Guinness. Works really good for boiling irish sausages in. Give me a Guinness over this one any day.

Can. Pours near black with a creamy off white head. The aroma is a little sweet and a little roasted. The body is on the watery side and the flavor is very bland. Not that good.
